I know that I'm not the only home owner who struggles with one problem after another with their house, but I am at a point where I really wonder if I would not be better off selling my little place and moving into a nice apartment. Right now I have a utility room which leaks rainwater complete with worms under the baseboards everytime it rains hard. My yard has 23 trees in it, many of which lost huge limbs in the ice storm last month. I have bought a chain saw and together with my neighbor and Jared, we have cut wood until we're all sick of it. And, there are HUGE sections of limbs/trunks which are too heavy to move. The wood is so wet it won't burn, so it's all over the yard at the moment with more rain and wind coming today. Finally, there's the $192 monthly propane bill..... (I guess I should name this my "WHINE" rather than my "BLOG".) On the other hand, of course, I love the privacy I have here, and I have wonderful neighbors who are really my Kentucky family.
