My Family

I am married to a lovely lady, Patrisha. We were married October 8, 1989 and now live in Collierville, TN - a suburb of Memphis. Our son is Princeton, and he is now 25 and living in his own apartment in the Memphis area. We also have a toy poodle, Cooper. Coop is usually wherever Patrisha is (and underfoot!).

We are now well adjusted to being empty nesters. We've discovered that life is a bit different without the focus of parenting, but we also enjoy the additional freedoms - we can focus on our home and our relationship, and we can pursue our personal interests more. We made many of the adjustments during our 4 years in Minnesota, but now that we're back in the Memphis area we are really settled into our lives with no children at home. Princeton comes over fairly often, but as a visitor (and a customer of our "laundromat" ;-) ). It is also nice being back among friends and family. We have had several events at the new house and it sure is great to see everyone again.

Patrisha is the coach and administrator of the Memphis Unique Dancers, a competitive dance team that performs and competes nationally. Right now she is taking a hiatus during these difficult financial times. The burden on the dancers' families was high, and it made sense to take a break for awhile until times are better.

Princeton works in distribution, enjoys life in general, and occasionally ponders plans for the future. Every once in a while he threatens to move back in with us, but I think he enjoys his freedom too much...as do we! His is also a father now (gee, that makes us grandparents...yikes!) - we like to spend time with our grandson Trey whenever we can. He will turn three soon.
